They can turn any lesson in the classroom into a fun game with fun colors and fun sounds. These wireless game show buzzers are an ideal addition to your home or classroom to spark a love of classroom participation by letting students and kids make a cool customized sound to signal they know the answer and is wonderful for auditory learners as well.

The Learning Resources Answer Buzzers allow kids to choose their favorite colors including horn honk, boxing bell, doorbell and boing. This is just what I ordered and expected I only needed two so I picked the two loudest.

These do not light up but I knew that but if the lit up it would be worth spending a little more. We use theses buzzers for the divided teams as we played Family Game. It work out perfect. We knew by the different sounds which team was first. This is a good product, but one of the buzzers did not work. I did not want to go the the process of sending them back. This is listed for children but I used them for adults and it worked great.

Note they all make different sounds so it was difficult to notice who buzzed in first. The lighted ones may have helped, but these were just fine for the price. Loved this idea for my students and cannt wait to use them! They are very reasonably priced as well.

With 11 excited kids I wished the sounds were louder, maybe they should re-design the holes to be on the side instead of the bottom of the buzzer, so close to the table. My blue one stopped working, maybe this excited kid hit it too hard. Since I didn't bring my screw driver, I could not open it up to see whether the batteries were dislodged.

I checked later at home the batteries were still intact, I pulled the batteries out and put them back on and it worked again and after many pressing, it stopped again and it worked again after I reset the batteries. Got this for my son to use to play "Family Feud", so they serve that purpose.

Couple things I don't like are; the sounds are very loud, no volume control each button makes a different soundand one of the buttons was very difficult to get the screw loose on the door where you insert batteries.

Other than those two things, they are neat and my son enjoys them. I was happy with how quickly the package arrived site to store.

There was no obvious damage to the package itself, but all four of the toy buzzers would not work. We tried each buzzer with two different sets of brand new batteries and never could get them to work.

The orange one started the buzz for a second, but that was about it. Really disappointed. I would not recommend these game buzzers at all. Here at Walmart.

There are two button on screen representing two teams. The resource will show who hit the button first by lighting up and playing a buzzer sound. Once illuminated the display dims one light at a time which can be used as an indicator for when the answer has to be spoken by.

Teachers can use this as a tool to suit however they wish their activity to run. A few ideas to involve the whole class as well as just those at the IWB might be useful. The students could revolve after each question.

An alternative would be to have all of the students in the class write their answers down. For questions involving long calculations the student at the front can buzz when he believes someone in his team has worked out the answer. If you find this useful leave a comment witha description of how you used it. Describing any problems with it would also be appreciated in the comments. Go to Interactive Whiteboard Resource. Cool idea. Would it be possible to tie the respective colors to a key press like red to A and blue to say L? Just a thought…. Thanks for the suggestion. It is possible but I aim to ensure the resources work without using the keyboard as I find resources that use an IWB and keyboard to be awkward in many classroom layouts. Despite this I can see the point in breaking that rule with this resource as it is very simple and and limited in its intended scope so there is unlikely to be any problem in its use this way.

I have used this with my class and they loved it. Would there be any chance of setting up more buzzers on a screen at once, say 4 instead of 2.

This would allow us to have more smaller teams taking part. Glad you like it but… sorry — this is a totally free to use site and to support this the resources must be accessed on line only. Love the buzzer! This would allow for more student to get involved rather than waiting forever for a turn. Perhaps an option on buzzer sounds as well? Students LOVE choices and something fun like different sounds would really make this fun.Account Options Sign in. Top charts.
